Research in the Atomic Physics Groups encompasses efforts in experimental and theoretical atomic physics. These include projects in plasma physics, mesoscopic ultracold atomic physics, and experiments in ultracold molecule formation and characterization. Fundamental and applied studies of electron scattering from atoms and molecules represent another area of active research.  Detailed descriptions may be found in individual research group pages.

The groups consist of seven full-time faculty members and eleven graduate students.  Contact information may be found in the links on this page.
