in the Department of Physics at Old Dominion University,
Norfolk, Virginia USA.

      We specialize in the research on corrosion,    
     especially on bridges  and major steel structures.
      We also work on corrosion  related  problems on
     ships and underwater structures. We also research
     nano-phase iron oxides especially goethite and
     akaganeite.  One of our research projects
     concentrates on the corrosion of the USS Monitor.
