Final Exam: Room 205,
Physics/Oceanography Building
If
you have to miss a test, you must contact me as soon as possible (i.e., before
the test, if possible). A grade of zero will be assigned unless you have
a very good excuse for missing the test. If you do have an
acceptable excuse (including a doctor’s note in case of illness), your grade
for the missed test will be the grade you receive on the final
examination. Note that no make-up tests will be given.
Homework: There will be seven homework assignments. You will have roughly 2 weeks for each
assignment. Homework is not a
test. You are encouraged to work together on it and get
help. However, you are responsible for understanding
the physics of each homework problem and the method of solution.
It is cheating to let other people do your homework for you.
You are welcome to ask questions in class regarding the homework.
